Lip Blush and Neutralization

If you would like to change the appearance or color of your lips, you may be interested in lip blushing. Lip blushing is a type of semi permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure achieved by depositing pigments in your lips. While also sometimes called lip tattooing, this is more of a cosmetic enhancement rather than traditional tattoo art. Lip blushing focuses on altering both color and shape to create your ideal look and shape. With this service, we can give the lips depth, definition, and dimension for a natural (or bold!) looking lip color that never smudges or budges. Afterward, you don’t have to use lip stains, tints, glosses, or even lipstick if you don’t want to.
You can even bring your favorite lip color along so we can color match it!
Lips will not be completed after one appointments. At least two appointments are needed to guarantee even coverage and optimal results. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. During your second visit, we will assess the color retention and make any adjustments necessary. If your lips don't heal perfectly the first time, don't worry! That's what the touch-up appointment is for.
What is Lip Correction?
Everyone’s lips are different, and there is no one standard of beauty. If you want to reshape the appearance of your lips, lip correction can be used to contour and color correct asymmetrical lips for the appearance of volume. This technique works well for clients who are missing or dissolved lip borders, which can involve scars.
What is Lip Neutralization?
Clients who are within the Fitzpatrick Scale 4, 5, and 6 may experience darker tones within their lips. If you have darker tones within the lips, they can be neutralized to give you your desired color. To neutralize darker tones, it may take anywhere from 1-4 sessions. Please be aware of this before you book because you may not be able to achieve your desired color in a single session! This is gradual process that works to both even-out lip tone as well as slightly brighten naturally cool-toned or darker lips. We recommend that warmer colors are used to achieve your goals, rather than using cool-toned colors.

Lip feminization can add a natural flush of color, which will define the shape of your lips and give them an enhanced, feminine appearance. Permanent makeup is a great option for transgender clients looking to feminize or masculinize their facial features before (or after!) considering surgical options.
